We use a linked repeater system. Any of the following frequencies are available for use, at your discretion and convenience. Prior to selection of a frequency and testing from your location will generally ensure a solid signal into the repeater system.

K1ECS NET PROTOCOL & TIMELINE
NETS every Monday, except the first Monday of the month

PREAMBLE: All Darn Frequencies for Cities
1845 This is K1ECS, South Bay Emergency Communications Service Inc.  A net will be conducted on all these frequencies in 5 minutes, commencing at 1850 and ending at approximately 1905 hours.  A clear frequency is requested for the duration of the net and the net control operator for this evening will be (Call Sign - using International Alphabet).

START NET:
» 1850 This is net control station (Call Sign – using International Alphabet) for K1ECS, South Bay Emergency Communications Service Inc.  Is there any traffic that needs to have priority before we start our net? (Pause for 5 seconds).   Hearing nothing our net will begin and will end at 1905.   This is a directed, closed net for South Bay ECS operators and guests within Area G of Southwest Los Angeles County.   All traffic will be directed to the net control station.
 

We will start with operators from the city of [Call for operators by cities below, one at a time]

1. Rancho Palos Verdes

2. Hermosa Beach

3. Culver City

4. Torrance

5. Manhattan Beach

6. Rolling Hills Estates

We will now call for any operators from the cities of Redondo Beach, Rolling Hills, Palos Verdes Estates, Lomita or El Segundo.

We will now open the net for guest or late member check-ins. Please come now with your call sign and city.
